“I don’t regret leaving consulting to take on the challenge of creating a new children’s museum,” says Sally, “because I’m focused and having fun, and we’ve quickly turned Marbles into a vibrant community asset.” The challenge of a turn-around and thrill of constant change lured Sally away from her job as a self-employed marketing coordinator. “I was going to finally get to walk the walk.” And she has. In just over two years, Sally and her team of volunteers and staff have merged the former Exploris and PlaySpace and created an innovative, popular downtown attraction, thanks in part to the large amount of community support Sally enlisted. And they’re not finished yet. Next up at Marbles is Moneypalooza, a fantastic, financial literacy exhibit opening at the end of January.  “I can’t see past that exhibit yet, but I hope a ski vacation is on the other side.”<!--StartFragment--> <!--EndFragment-->
