Megan Marshall | Travel Addict

At 23 years old, Megan has traveled to more countries than most people twice her age. 

“I’ve only been to two continents,” she says, looking a bit embarrassed, but she’s visited 13 countries, including France, Japan, Thailand, Germany, and Sweden.  She was set to travel to Brazil in March, hitting continent number three, but the Brazilian embassy misplaced her travel companion’s passport.  While Megan may have caught the travel bug, she’s not a fan of the actual “getting there.” 

“I’m not a big flyer.  But I don’t let my fear of flying stop me from where I’m going.”

Megan supports her travel habit by working as a travel advisor at STA Travel in Chapel Hill.  “No one works here for the money – the money’s not great.  But the travel benefits are, and as soon as you think about leaving, they send you on a free trip somewhere.”
